Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy

This programme is part-time over two academic years. Teaching involves tutor-led workshops, seminars, and practical sessions. Students also actively engage in Play Therapy practice through case studies, field work and supervision. The programme is staffed by practising therapists; who also have a range of experience as trainers. Their delivery of the course is underpinned by the linking of theory to practice. Various theoretical models are explored with a particular focus on Psychodynamic thinking. The programme has a significant experiential component which allows for learning by doing and recognises the personal journey involved in training to be a therapist.
