Assurance of your professionalism is now essential for those you work with in the United Kingdom. We are the UK’s first and foremost Play Therapy organisation; currently representing over 400 individuals’ interests both nationally and within the international arena. BAPT membership categories

BAPT has comprehensive and accessible membership for all applicants. Please select your membership by carefully reading the information on each category. All membership applicants must agree to abide by the BAPT Ethical Basis for Good Practice in Play Therapy and are subject to the Complaints Procedure therein.

   
     

Registered Play Therapist (Full Member)
This category is open to any person who holds a Play Therapy qualification accredited by BAPT, who is having regular supervision and who is in or has recently  had personal therapy. Full members have the right to vote at the AGM and to stand for election on to the National Executive Committee. Full members may request to have their name and contact details made available to people seeking a qualified Play Therapist.

Associate Member
This category is open to any person working or interested in the field of Play Therapy.

Student Member
This category is open to any person who is registered on a accredited BAPT training programme.

Retired Member
This category is open to any person who is a former member of BAPT and has fully retired from all paid employment.
