ABOUT PLAY THERAPY CAREERS

Play Therapy careers is a service developed by the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT) to help enable the public gain access to relevant and appropriate information.

Over the last decade, child mental health has increasingly come into the spotlight. The development of National Service Frameworks (NSF's) and relevant legislation (Every Child Matters Green Paper etc.) is significantly changing the professional climate of mental health.

There is now increasing acknowledgement that there is a significant shortfall in appropriately qualified child mental health practitioners, with some areas of Britain having no Child Psychotherapists or Play Therapists.

With these issues in mind, BAPT has developed the PLAY THERAPY Careers website to manage the numerous enquires received each day.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

BAPT hopes that your visit to PLAY THERAPY Careers is useful and enjoyable.
